Anne Arundel County, Maryland Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

The Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis (HACA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from August 15, 2023, until February 1, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Print the paper application.
2. Pick up an application at the HACA office.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be either:

1. Dropped off at the HACA office.
2. Mailed to the HACA office.
3. Faxed to HACA office.

This waiting list had the following preferences: 

• Terminated from the Housing Choice Voucher program due to insufficient program funding.
• Victim of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
• Public Housing resident who has been displaced as a result of repairs that exceed 30 days.
• Disabled
• Household head, spouse, cohead, or sole member working at least 20 hours per week.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
